Being sick isn't fun

Being sick isn't fun

So this morning I awoke with an odd feeling in my stomach I didn't usually have, low and behold I threw up. As such I had to stay home today, which I hate.

Now most people would respond "What do you mean?! That means no work or school. Your so lucky". No! It's not fun!

Being home instead of at school mean that you have to make up school work and give up your free time. It completely jacks up your schedule and its soooooooo stressful!

Not to mention depending on what your sick with your limited to what you can eat, and it's usually really bland tasteless food.

What's worse is that the excitement of staying home dies down after 2 hours and your just bored and wanna do something.

So yeah, not a big fan of being sick, I'd rather be at school.

"Knight of the Sun Start Deck"

"Knight of the Sun Start Deck"

So the gold paladin G-start dec is coming out in the America in a little bit and I thought I'd go over some of the cards in this set, as well as go over the "Unite" skill that was added to the gold paladins. Keep in mind I'll only be looking at cards I think will be actually seen in the next few coming months when set 7 comes out.

So "Unite" works like this:
A "Unite" ability remains active, or can only be used, as long as you have called two or more units to (RC) or (GC) during the same turn, either normal calling them or by an effect.

So the effect can go off during your turn and your opponents turn, so that gives it more versatility than the other skills we've had so far. This works for Girguit decks that focus on especial guarding (As I'm calling it).

As for good cards in the set We'll start with the boss

[AUTO](VC) Generation Break 2 (This ability is active if you have two or more face up G units in total on your (VC) or G zone):[Counter Blast (1) & Soul Blast (1)] At the beginning of the guard step of the battle that this unit is attacked, you may pay the cost. If you do, look at four cards from the top of your deck, search for up to one card from among them, call it to (GC) at [Rest], and shuffle your deck.
[AUTO](VC):[Counter Blast (1)] During your turn, when your G unit Stride, you may pay the cost. If you do, look at four cards from the top of your deck, search for up to one card from among them, call it to (RC), shuffle your deck, and that unit gets [Power]+2000 until end of turn.

So His first skill will easily help you guard and call when your hand count is low and you can use the perfect guard in this deck to perfect guard from the deck. This makes the unflipping perfect guards obsolete to the regular ones since you can only use those from the hand.

[AUTO](RC):[Counter Blast (1) & Put this unit into your soul] When this unit's attack hits a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, look at three cards from the top of your deck, search for up to one card from among them, call it to an open (RC), and put the rest on the bottom of your deck in any order.

So this card will call out more units while simultaneously building up the unite conditions and fueling the soul for Girguit's skill

[AUTO]:Forerunner (When a unit of the same clan rides this unit, you may call this unit to (RC))
[ACT](RC) Generation Break 1 (This ability is active if you have one or more face up G units in total on your (VC) or G zone) Unite (This ability is active if you have called two or more units to (RC) or (GC) during this turn):[Put this unit into your soul] Look at three cards from the top of your deck, search for up to one card from among them, call it to (RC), shuffle your deck, and that unit gets [Power]+2000 until end of turn.

So he's a pretty decent card, almost like a mini Gurguit and could be a good replacement for "Spring Breeze Messanger"

[ACT](RC): [Put this unit into your soul] Choose up to one of your «Gold Paladin», and that unit gets [Power]+3000 until end of turn.

This is a card that desperately needed a reprint to say the least, this is the a crib that new players need in order to be a bit more competitive.

Thats all for now guys, until next time!

The Six Dollar Extra Booster

The Six Dollar Extra Booster

So the other day I was at my local Walmart with my dad browsing the clearance section of the trading card mini-section. And in this section, What should I find but a box of Cardfight vanguard cards, the only one, and it just so happens that this box was of "Cavalry of Black Steel".

Now this wasn't a a single back this was an entire box with 15 packs inside. I went up to get the price checked and the cashier said that the whole box was 5.99!!

To put this in perspective, most of these sets are $40 - $50 at the very least, and 5.99 is the standard price for a single pack, And I got 15 for the price if 1!

I don't know who the guy running that Walmart is but he needs to sell more of these in clearance! This was a rare find to say the least and I more than made my money back from buying this set.

Fake "How are you" 's

Ok so am I the only one who freaking hates fake "How are you" 's?

You've probably been in a situation like this before if you have a friend. Your just sitting there, minding your own business, then your friend walks by and says "Hey, how are you?". To which you respond and add "How about you?" and then your friend tells you everything going wrong in their life instead of just asking to talk. They lure you in with the promise of a regular conversation but then it turns into a therapy session for the other person.

I'm pretty sure everyone's been guilty of doing this at one point or another, and I feel like it should just stop. If you want help from someone, just ask! Please don't do the whole fake "How are you?" thing. You don't need to be shy when asking for help, and if you do end up doing this, its going to REALLY annoy the person.

My thoughts on Technical Booster 2

My thoughts on Technical Booster 2

So if you remember a few months back, Bushiroad released a new extra booster that supports 3 clans called the G-Tachnical Booster: Reckless Rampage

It was a solid set that gave some much needed support to Tachikaze, Spike brothers, And Nubatama.

About a month or two later Bushiroad released a list of Their upcoming products for the next few months, one of which is another Technical booster coming out this summer.

So we will be getting support for...

Murakumo

Megacolony

And Neo Nectar

So as for what I can predict for this set, I'd imagine that we'll be getting some more support for Darkface and Machinings. For Neo nectar I think they'll get some musketeer support as well as maybe some more Asha stuff. As for the Murakumo I don't really have that much of a clear picture as to what it could be.

Well thats all I have for now on the g technical booster, I am really hyped fir this set and I hope you all are too. Till then guys!

First thoughts on "Death Parade"

First thoughts on "Death Parade"

So, with some of my newly acquired free time, I've been able to watch some anime that I've been missing out on due to School obligations. So I thought it'd be best to watch some of the shows I missed and give my first impressions on them. First up is "Death Parade.

The story takes place at the "Quindecim" A classy bar run by the bartender Decim. Each episode revolves around two people dying in a game to the death to decide their lives, little do they know is that their already dead. The games work as a way to decide which person is sent into a void where their soul is lost forever or to be reincarnated. However this decision is not made by just who wins but by how the person shows their true colors during said game.

Now, Disclaimer, I've only seen the first 3 episodes of this show and likely my opinion is subject to change by the time I finish this show. That being said though I do find myself enjoying it, there a lot of aspects to this show that really make me want to sink my teeth into it.

First off, the show has a solid opening song, nothing more can be said, its absolutely amazing. Secondly the animation is standard MAD house animation with great cgi work slipped in that has a very nice natural flow to it. The designs for the characters (At least the ones I've seen up to this point and in the opening theme) are vibrant and unique with a unique eye design that gives them an other worldly feel.

The characters themselves are entertaining so far, though we haven't really seen much interaction with them as of yet. But their personalities do show within these two episodes, specifically the personality of Decim, who's reserved and seemingly expressionless face makes me curious about him. Aside from him however there isn't too much else to talk about with the other two main characters.

A lot of the moments in these episodes got genuine reactions out of me, genuine feeling that made me feel a twinge uncomfortable which has been very hard for anime to do for me, with the exception of a few rare moments.

Overall I like this show, I'm definitely going to continue it and enjoy watching it, I hope you who haven't seen it will enjoy it as well.

As for those who have seen it let me know your thoughts in the comments section and do keep it spoiler free for newcomers.

Until then, I'll see ya next time!

To anyone who wants to read "Danganronpa Zero"

Where to find "Danganronpa/Zero"

Danganronpa has to be my favorite gaming franchise of all time, I love the dark and comedic elements. Combined with a story that never gets tiring and characters that stand the test of time, it makes it one of the best mystery video games. But what took place before the events of the first game? Well here's the answers.

For those who don't know "Danganronpa/Zero" is an official light novel prequel to the Danganronpa series. Though despite this you should not read this series first, otherwise there will be major spoilers for the later games.

Now then, Here is the link to Volumes 1 and 2 with the official english translation:

Have fun everyone! And until next time!

Personal News

Personal News

So for the past few weeks (Maybe like 6 or so) I've been changing my life style quite a bit. I have mainly changed to a nearly all protein, vegetable, fruit diet and have been working out twice a week with my coach. Ive been getting some decent results fairly fast and have been toning up my muscles. I wasn't like fat or anything before I did this whole 180 thing, but I thought I'd share with you all a little bit of the motivation that got me to change my lifestyle for the better.

So for a long while now I've been following a youtube by the name of Jaxblade, also known as Jordan Downs. And he is a huge role model for me, he started working out, studying how to do it right and he is just dedicated as hell to it and I just found that so inspiring.

And one of the other big motivators for me and also one of the things that inspired Jaxblade was characters from anime. Now if you don't know there are some very buff or just well built characters in anime and I've been watching all these characters train to get better and work so hard to earn their skills and looks. That gave me the idea to train and work out so that I could look fit like these characters. Characters like Natsu and Gray from Fairy tail, Saitama from One Punch Man, Trunks from DBZ, and so many more just made me and continue to make me so motivated to work out to my absolute limit, eat healthier, and all that jazz.

I hope you all can take something away fro this and if you can, check out Jaxblade, he's an awesome guy. Until then guys  keep calm and booyah on.

Top Three Villains I hope get more/ would've gotten more Development

Top Three Villains I hope get more/ would've gotten more Development

So through out fiction we've had a lot of great Villains, from the Joker to The green Goblin, from Frieza/Freeza to Titans. There have been more villains than we can out that are just amazing! But then there are the villains who have the potential to be great, but the writers mainly use them as lacks or their just one-off villains who never get referenced again. However, they are pretty interesting, and it's because of their fantasies that they stay alive and have the potential to be brought back in inventive ways. And were going to talk about 3 villains that I think should get some more development.

Number 3

 Zarbon (Dragonball Z)

Starting off with Frieza's right hand man, Zarbon is a villain who cares for his beauty and disgusts the ugly (Despite having a monstrous second form). This one isn't really all that needed, but I figured I mention him for one reason. In the video game "Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2" theres a what if story where Zarbon betrays Freiza in an attempt to gain eternal beauty. It's a really great what if story that adds a lot of depth to his character, and makes me wonder how the series would've changed if he did attempt this.

Number 2

Midnight (Fairy Tail)

Midnight is a very interesting villain and probably the most popular member of the Oracion Seis. Now while this character did appear again in a filler arc, I'm on the fence if i want to consider that actual development for him. He does appear in the Tartarus Arc of the fairy tail series but I have yet to finish it, so who knows, maybe we'll see more of him.

Number 1

The Music Meister (Batman: The Brave and the Bold)

Ok, does anyone else but me know who this guy is or at least remembers him!?!?

Anyways, The Music Meister was a made for TV character for an episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold, who was portrayed by Neil Patrick Harris. I just found this guy so much fun and still think so to this day, he was very memorable, his songs were catchy as hell. But we never really got to know that much about him, all we know was that one day he was bullied and started singing at such a high pitch that it hypnotically controlled anyone who headed him sing. He develops a crush on Black Canary but thats it, we never learned why he had such a fascination for music, what his life was like, or even his name. I think this guy could become extremely popular if he was given a role as an antagonist in something like a light hearted DC tv show or movie, maybe even a live action role in a tv series like The Flash, where he could potentially be played by Neil Patrick Harris.

Any ways guys thats all for now, I hope you enjoyed. Tell me which villain you think deserves more development.
